No disengagement of forces around Stanytsia Luhanska after militants break cease-fire, - ATO Staff

The disengagement of forces planned for today in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska has failed.

Censor.NET reports citing the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.

"Under the Minsk agreements, the main condition for the disengagement of troops and hardware is an unconditional compliance with the cease-fire by both sides within seven days.

"On March 7, in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska, no disengagement of forces took place because of repeated violations of the cease-fire by Russian occupation troops.

"In the period between March 1-7, the enemy committed seven attacks in the area, using small arms. The Joint Center for Control and Coordinating of issues related to the cease-fire regime and the stabilization of the situation was informed about the registered violations in due time.

"All this once again demonstrates the unwillingness of the opposite side to fulfill its commitments," the message says.
