 Canada's parliament, government unwavering in their support to Ukraine, - FM Freeland

All parties in the parliament of Canada are united in providing assistance to Ukraine.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Chrystia Freeland said at a meeting of the parliament, Censor.NET reports.

"I believe Canadians of all parties, the Conservatives, the Liberals, and the NDP, stand together in our support of Ukraine. That is why we had unanimous support in this House for the Canada-Ukraine free trade agreement," Freeland said.

"Our government, I personally, and the prime minister stand absolutely firmly in support of Ukraine. The Ukrainians know it," she added.

The minister also stressed that Canada strongly condemns the illegal annexation of Crimea.

"As for Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea and aggression against Ukraine in the Donbas, we condemn that as well," Freeland said.
