In turn, the lawyers of the detained official threw discredit on the information and submitted relevant documents.
Explicitly asked by the judge whether he had got U.K. citizenship, the State Fiscal Service chief said that he was a citizen of Ukraine, which raised a storm of laughter in the courtroom.
After that, the judge decided to grant the prosecutors' petition and entered upon the record the documents confirming Nasirov's British and Hungarian citizenships.
