Ukrainian MoD spokesman on anti-terrorist operation (ATO) matters Andrii Lysenko said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine.
"Overall, five Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action and no one was killed over the past day," Lysenko said.
He also said 110 attacks were recorded, including 50 with heavy weapons.
10 cease-fire violations were registered in the Luhansk sector.
Militants used mortars against Popasna, Novooleksandrivka, Troitske, Krymske. ATO positions in Novotoshkivske were hit by anti-tank missiles, small arms were used against Stanytsia Luhanska.
The Svitlodarsk salient and the neighborhoods of Horlivka and Avdiivka remain the hottest spots in the Donetsk sector.
"The fighting at the Svitlodarsk salient, around Luhanske village, lasted more than five hours, with militants carrying out massive artillery, tank and mortar strikes," the press officer said.
Militants in northern part of Horlivka fired more than 75 mortars toward Ukrainian positions.
"Intensive hostilities continue around Avdiivka, Kamianka and Butivka mine.
"Over the past day, militants actively used tanks to fire more than 40 rounds. The number of fired mortars exceeded 170, with enemy attacks being non-stop," Lysenko said.
Pisky came under tank fire, Nevelske was hit by mortars and a sniper.
"Overall, the Donetsk sector saw 46 enemy attacks, including 31 with heavy weapons," Lysenko said.
In the Mariupol sector, the situation remains tense in the coastal part of the demarcation line between Pavlopil and Shyrokyne.
"46 attacks were recorded in the Mariupol sector, including 13 with heavy weapons," the spokesman said.
