A local woman suffered shrapnel wounds as a result of militants' shelling in the Donetsk region, Censor.NET reports citing the National Police department in the Donetsk region.
"The incident happened yesterday morning, when the woman was in her own backyard. She suffered shrapnel wounds as a result of the militants' shelling,'' the statement reads.
The 25-year-old was taken to a local hospital with the shrapnel wounds to her left thigh and right forearm.
She is a resident of Zaitseve village located near occupied Horlivka.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under article 258 (act of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
