Larysa Sarhan, the spokeswoman for Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko, wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"The electronic tracking device has already been put on Tarasiuk. He has also handed over his passports. The Pechersk district court of Kyiv set 6.4 million hryvnia in bail for ex-Head of the State Management of Affairs Ihor Tarasiuk. This decision was announced by Judge Tetiana Ostapchuk.
"The prosecutors' motion was granted partially: Tarasiuk was obliged to hand over his passports while an electronic bracelet should be put on him within five days. He must also inform the prosecutor's office if he changes the place of residence. The decision of the court is valid through May 1, 2017. Tarasiuk left the court room unescorted," she said.
Earlier today, ex- Head of the State Management of Affairs Tarasiuk was indicted on charges of seizing the state-owned Mezhyhiria residence in favor of fugitive Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. During a search at his place, law enforcers seized documents, 1 million euro, gold and other things.
