Ivaniushchenko case not dismissed, investigators and prosecution make no progress, - Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of Ukraine has not reconsidered the decision in respect of Yurii Ivaniushchenko (Yura Yenakiyevskiy) and, accordingly, has not ruled to close criminal proceedings against him.

Censor.NET reports referring to the Supreme Court press service.

On Dec. 29, 2014, Ivaniushchenko was indicted on charges of committing a number of criminal offenses. Having studied the case materials provided by the pre-trial investigation authorities, the investigating judge concluded no progress had been made by investigators and the prosecution in terms of investigative actions and the adoption of procedural documents.

The fact is viewed as a violation of the rights of the suspect whose freedom of movement has been restricted and whose movable and immovable assets have been seized.
