 Deputy Interior Minister Troian to oversee State Border Guard Service, National Police and cooperation with Interpol

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has empowered his deputy Vadym Troian to coordinate work of the State Border Guard Service, the National Police and collaboration with Interpol.

Censor.NET reports quoting Troian's Facebook page.

"The minister of internal affairs has formally approved the list of my duties. As deputy interior minister, I will henceforth coordinate the work of the National Police of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as well as the cooperation with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and the European Police Office (Europol).

"My key objective is to continue the reform of both the police and border guard service as well as the implementation of world's best practices and legislative improvements," he wrote.

Troian intends to focus on the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of the State Border Guard Service and the Integrated Border Management Concept for the period of 2015-2020.
