As reported by a Censor.NET correspondent, speakers at Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square talked about the acts of repression in occupied Crimea and return of the peninsula to Ukraine.
The March of Solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people followed. Its participants marched through the center of the capital flying Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar flags.
Earlier, President Petro Poroshenko recalled that three years ago, Feb. 26, 2014, residents of Crimea took part in a peaceful march to show solidarity with Ukraine. The following day, Russia resorted to overt aggression and seized the peninsula.
