 Militants committed armed provocation against OSCE representatives in Luhansk region, - ATO Staff

The militants committed an armed provocation against the members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) near the village of Katerynivka (the occupied Luhansk region) today at 11:40 a.m.

Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.

As reported, after the OSCE monitors patrolled Katerynivka two their cars were stopped by an unknown person wearing balaclava and uniform with distinctive signs ''Novorossia''. The monitors asked the militant to introduce himself and report on his commander whereabouts. The man answered that the commander is in Pervomaisk.

Then, another man with a machine gun came out of the building and opened fire into the air. The OSCE patrol got into the car and drove towards Zolote. Two grenades exploded near the OSCE car.

When the OSCE SMM representatives arrived at the village of Zolote, they reported about the incident to the officer of the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC).
