As reported by Censor.NET citing 112 Ukraine TV channel, delivering speech at the meeting of the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council, the prime minister confirmed the government's willingness to engage in negotiations with Donbas trade blockade participants.
"The government's position is clear: we are ready for talks, for the professional dialogue. But we will not tolerate subversive actions against citizens," he said.
According to him, Ukraine will face two consequences if all available strategic stockpiles are exhausted and power-generating coal deliveries are not restored: "There will be energy shortfall in the country. The second aspect is heating after which goes the metal industry that employs 300,000 Ukrainians. It generates 12 percent of Ukraine's GDP... If it stops, this would mean that they want to deprive us of the potential economic growth."
