Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff press center.
The statement reads: "General de-escalation was recorded across the demarcation line yesterday morning. The enemy somewhat reduced the number of attacks with heavy weapons, but later started using 120 mm mortars again.
"The militants shelled Novotroitske in Mariupol direction with 120 mm mortars. The occupants fired at Chermalyk, Talakivka, Hnutove, Starohnativka, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne with large-caliber machine guns and small arms. Snipers committed attacks in Vodiane, Pavlopil, Shyrokyne, Novotroitske and Hnutove.
"The adversary shelled Novoluhanske, Avdiivka, Luhanske, Zaitseve, and Troitske in Donetsk direction with 120 and 82 mm mortars. Avdiivka, Pisky, Novoselivka, Verkhniotoretske, Kamianka, Luhanske, Zaitseve and Zhovte were fired upon with large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The enemy repeatedly employed IFV weapons against Opytne and Luhanske. Sniper attacks were recorded in Avdiivka.
"The Russian occupation forces shelled Novooleksandrivka in Luhansk direction with anti-tank missiles. Mortars, grenade launchers, small arms, and anti-tank missile systems were employed against Novozvanivka. Snipers committed attacks in Stanytsia Luhanska and Zhovte.
"A total of 74 assaults were recorded over the past 24-hour period," the situation report reads.
As reported, the Russian terrorists committed 62 attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions Feb. 19.
