 Crimean Tatar Asker NGO member Zaitullaiev allegedly detained by Russian FSB at Crimean border, - Interfax

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) says its officers have allegedly detained Crimean Tatar Asker NGO member Seit-Ibrahim Zaitullaiev at the administrative border between the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula and mainland Ukraine.

This was stated by the press service of the Russian Border Guard Directorate of the FSB, Censor.NET reports citing Russian Interfax news agency.

According to the Russian invaders, a citizen of Ukraine Seit-Ibrahim Zaitullaiev tried to cross the administrative border from mainland Ukraine bypassing the border crossing point. "Asker NGO member ID was found on Zaitullaiev during personal search. The intruder testified during the interview that he has been serving in Crimean Tatar Noman Çelebicihan Battalion over a year," the press release reads.

According to the FSB press service, the detainee said that the battalion instructors train subversives to carry out sabotage and terrorist attacks in Crimea "including at the Russian border crossing points."

The Russian "law enforcers" charged Zaitullaiev with illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation.
