As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at a joint briefing with Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip.
"Moldova amended its law in terms of the country's nonalignment. It later amended its Constitution in 1994 seeking to convince the Russian Federation that it had no intention to join NATO. Then there was the Istanbul Summit. Nothing worked. The Russian troops are still in the territory of Moldova," he said.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Moldova Filip said that the Moldovan authorities were set to insist on the Russian troops' withdrawal from the country, from the territory of the breakaway Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
