 Ukraine’s foreign minister to leave for U.S. next week to make necessary arrangements before Poroshenko’s visit

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin intends to visit the United States next week (Feb. 13-19).

He said on air of 1+1 TV channel, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.

"I'll be in the United States next week. I'll be arranging some additional meetings," the minister said.

During the visit, Klimkin is expected to make arrangements and carry out necessary negotiations regarding President Poroshenko's visit to the U.S.

As reported, the presidents of Ukraine and the United States discussed enhancing strategic partnership between the two countries and settlement of the conflict in the Donbas through political and diplomatic efforts during the telephone conversation they held on the night of Sunday, Feb. 5.
