Russia a threat to international order, Freeland says to Tillerson

Canada believes that Russian aggression and annexation of Crimea were illegal, and the Russian Federation is a threat to global order.

As reported by Censor.NET citing National Post, this was said by Canada Foreign Minister Chrtystia Freeland after her meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

Freeland had a "substantive" discussion with Tillerson on Russia and Ukraine, the medium reports. During the discussion, Freeland conveyed Canada's "strong view" that Russia's invasion and annexation of Crimea was illegal "and a threat to the international order," she said.
