 PGO raids MP Mosiichuk’s chamber, denies connection with his political activities

The members of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) conduct search in presence-chamber of Ukrainian lawmaker, Radical Party parliamentary faction member Ihor Mosiichuk.

Mosiichuk's fellow party member Andrii Lozovyi wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"A search is being conducted at Ihor Mosiichuk's chamber officially registered on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. The apartment of lawyer Andrii Mamalyha is also being raided," the MP wrote.

The only Mosiichuk's presence-chamber mentioned on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is located at 97 Kyivska Str. in the town of Vasylkiv in Kyiv's larger area.

"The Prosecutor General's Office conducts searches in my and lawyer Syvakov's apartments!" Mamalyha wrote on Facebook.

"The searches which are now conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office have nothing to do with political activities of MP Mosiichuk. More details will be disclosed later," said Larysa Sarhan, spokesperson for Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko.
