 Russian troops opened fire 78 times yesterday, wounded one Ukrainian soldier, - Staff

On Feb. 6, one Ukrainian military was wounded in shelling in the east of Ukraine.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Staff's press center on Facebook.

Over the past 24-hour period, ATO forces in Avdiivka area came under fire from 152 mm artillery, tanks, mortars of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber, grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. In Donetsk direction, Troitske, Verkhniotoretske, Kamianka, Luhanske, Opytne, and Zaitseve came under mortar fire.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy employed 122 mm artillery, grenade launchers and mortars of various calibers to shell Bohdanivka, Novohryhorivka, Lebedynske, Vodiane, Hnutove, Shyrokyne and Marinka. A tank was firing upon Shyrokyne, an IFV weapon upon Marinka, and large-caliber mortars upon Novotroitske.

In Luhansk direction, 122 mm artillery of the enemy fired upon Krymske numerous times. Mortars and grenade launchers were used by Russian mercenaries to impact Zhovte and Krymske, and a tank operated in Novozvanivka.

"A total of 78 cases of shelling were recorded over the past day. One our fighter got wounded," the message reads.

As reported earlier, on Feb. 5 Russian occupants opened fire upon Ukraine's Army positions 94 times.
