Censor.NET reports citing the ATO Staff press service.
"Russia's media have launched another information campaign against Ukrainian troops stationed in the ATO area. The information about the alleged plans of the Ukrainian military to shell Mariupol have been actively circulated online.
"In this regard, the ATO Staff press center states this is another attempt by Russian occupation forces to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as to artificially create a newsworthy story to cover up their own intentions to attack the civilian population of the city in the government-controlled territory," the statement says.
