The terrorists were forced to retreat and decrease the number of attacks in the vicinity of Avdiivka.

It was reported about 51 militants' attacks at Ukrainian soldiers in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area over the past 24 hours, Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.

In the Donetsk sector, the militants used tanks and IFV firing at Ukrainian positions at Kamianka and Avdiivka. Novoluhanske was shelled with 152 mm guns. Avdiivka and Zaitseve were mortared with 120 and 82 mm shells.

In the Mariupol sector, Chermalyk, Shyrokyne, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Vodiane, Talakivka were fired from mortars of various calibers and grenade launchers. Chermalyk was fired from anti-tank systems.

In the Luhansk sector, the militants shelled Novozvanivka with Grad rocket systems. Bohuslavske, Popasna, and Novozvanivka were mortared. The militants' sniper was spotted near Popasna, while Zhovte was fired from small arms.

Around 5:30 p.m., the militants launched an attack firing at Ukrainian soldiers' positions at Avdiivka from 152 mm guns and 120 mm mortars. The attack was repelled and terrorists were forced to retreat.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded yesterday.
