In the Mariupol sector, Vodiane, Pavlopil, Talakivka and Berdiansk came under 122 mm artillery fire. Attacks on Novohryhorivka, Krasnohorivka, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Novotroitske and Vodiane involved 120 mm mortars. The enemy used small arms against Shyrokyne and Novohryhorivka. Chermalyk came under sniper fire, Shyrokyne was hit by IFV cannon.
In the Donetsk sector, occupants fired some 100 Grad rockets on Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka. They also employed 152 mm artillery and tanks. 152 mm artillery was used against Tonenke. Avdiivka, Luhanske, Troitske, Opytne and Verkhniotoretske came under 120 mm mortar fire. An attack on Verkhniotoretske involved tanks and IFVs.
In the Luhansk sector, militants repeatedly hit our positions in the area of Krymske, Troitske, Zhovte, Novooleksandrivka, Stanytsia Luhanska and Novozvanivka, using 152 mm and 122 mm guns, 82 mm mortars, various types of grenade launchers and small arms.
The fighting in the vicinity of Avdiivka has been underway since late Saturday, Jan. 28.
