IMF insists on retirement age increase, - Minister of Social Policy Reva

Minister of Social Policy Andrii Reva says the International Monetary Fund insists on raising the retirement age in Ukraine.

Should there be clear correlation between the right to retire and the size of pension on one hand and the duration and total amount of payments to the Pension Fund on the other, in 10 years the Pension Fund will finally benefit economically, the minister said on air of NewsOne station Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

According to Reva, the estimates indicate that raising the retirement age will not solve the issue of the Pension Fund deficit.
