As reported by Censor.NET, the last tribute to Platoon Commander Roman Hulchenko, born in 1986, will be paid at the base of the 79th Air Assault Brigade in Mykolaiv between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. The trooper took part in fierce battles: defended Donetsk airport, participated in battles for Lohvynove of Feb. 2015. He was wounded to the abdomen and thigh. The serviceman was awarded with the Third Class Order for Courage.
Hulchenko was killed in action in the line of duty Jan. 30. He saved his subordinates at the cost of his life.
The officer will be buried in his hometown of Tatarbunary in the Odesa region.
All concerned will be able to pay last tribute to the soldiers of 72nd Brigade who were killed in Avdiivka's industrial zone on Jan. 29 and 30 on Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Feb. 1.

Deputy Battalion Commander Captain Andrii Kyzylo was survived by his eight-month-old son. Deceased officer's friend Volodymyr Runets, a reporter for Channel 24, wrote an appeal on Facebook: "It's too hard for me to write this, because I still do not believe that he has passed away. But I still appeal to you as Andrii's young family really needs help. Here is number of his wife Oksana Kyzylo's Privatbank card: 5168 7573 0463 3961. As for other issues, please, think twice whether to disturb the person in beep mourning for no serious reason. Let us be humane."
