Censor.NET reports citing the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade press service.
"As of morning, Jan. 30, the battle continues. At night, the intensity of fire slightly decreased and is now growing again. Having received support from other brigade's units, soldiers in Avdiivka are bravely holding their lines, including those captured from the enemy after a determined counterattack," the message notes.
"We are ready for any surprises on the part of the enemy and in terms of our prospects," the Ukrainian fighters say.
As previously reported, 56 attacks were recorded over past day, in which five Ukrainian soldiers died, nine were wounded and four injured.
