As reported by Censor.NET referring to journalist Anton Naumliuk's Facebook page, lawyer Emil Kurbedinov has been convicted of promoting extremism.
"Emil Kurbedinov has been found guilty of an administrative offense under Article 20.3 (propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols similar to Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations) of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. Penalty: a 10-day custody," he wrote.
As previously reported, the lawyer was indicted for posting a video of a Hizb ut-Tahrir rally in Crimea on Facebook in 2013.
On Jan. 26, the FSB detained lawyer Emil Kurbedinov en route to the house of activist Seiran Saliev, searched by law enforcers.
