This was said by Commission Secretary Yevhen Zakharov at a briefing today, Jan. 26, Censor.NET reports citing the Communications Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
According to Zakharov, the Commission members voted to admit ten candidates to the next stage - the interviews with the candidates. The nominees include Donetsk region police Chief Viacheslav Abroskin, Odesa region police Chief Dmytro Holovin, National Police Criminal Investigation Department Head Serhii Kniaziev, and National Police Deputy Chief Kostiantyn Bushuiev.
Zakharov also said that the Commission approved the schedule of interviews with the applicants. According to this schedule, two candidates will be interviewed every day. Each interview will last up to three hours. The Commission plans to submit three candidates for the interior minister's consideration as early as Feb. 6.
