Kremlin has plan to purge Crimea of disloyal Crimean Tatars and other opponents of annexation, - Feygin

Today's arrest of lawyer Emil Kurbedinov indicates the Kremlin has an approved plan for the final cleansing of the Russian-occupied peninsula of disloyal Crimean Tatars and other opponents of the annexation.

Censor.NET reports quoting lawyer Mark Feygin as saying on Facebook.

"Our friend, Crimean lawyer Emil Kurbedinov has been detained. Together with colleagues, he defends Ilmi Umerov and many those politically persecuted in Crimea. An outrageous FSB-led campaign to put pressure on lawyers proves once again that the leadership has an approved plan to completely purge the peninsula of disloyal Crimean Tatars and other opponents of the annexation," he wrote.

According to Feygin, Umerov is being actually deprived of his second lawyer with Nikolai Polozov, his first lawyer, having been detained the day before.

"Edem Semedlyaev is still there. I guess the security service will arrest him in the next few days. So, he is in the red zone," the lawyer stressed.

On Jan. 26, the FSB detained lawyer Emil Kurbedinov en route to the house of activist Seiran Saliev, searched by law enforcers.
