Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center as of Jan. 25, 2017.
According to the Staff, the militants shelled Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Zhovte, Berezove, Vodiane and Shyrokyne in Mariupol direction with 122 mm artillery, 120 and 82 mm mortars. Krasnohorivka came under strikes with Grad-P rocket systems. Marinka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodiane, Shyrokyne, and Novotroitske were fired upon with grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy snipers committed attacks in Novotroitske and Marinka. Shyrokyne was also fired at with IFV weapons.
In Luhansk direction, the militants shelled Troitske and Novozvanivka with 120 and 82 mm mortars. Orikhove, Zhovte and Novozvanivka were fired at with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
Avdiivka, Zaitseve and Troitske in Donetsk direction came under strikes with 120 and 82 mm mortars. Luhanske, Zaitseve and Avdiivka were fired upon with grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
"48 attacks were recorded over the past 24 hours," the situation report reads.
Earlier, the Russian-backed militants committed 55 attacks on the Ukrainian troops' positions using 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars on Jan. 24.
