 Ukraine, Estonia to sign memorandum to implement EGOV4UKRAINE project worth 5.7M euros, - Zubko

Memorandum on the implementation of the Support of E-governance for Decentralization in Ukraine (EGOV4UKRAINE) project will be signed between Estonia and Ukraine.

Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Hennadii Zubko said following the meeting with Director for Development and Strategy in Estonian e-Governance Academy Hannes Astok, Censor.NET reports citing Zubko's press service.

"EGOV4UKRAINE seeks to strengthen the U-LEAD with Europe: Ukraine Local Empowerment, Accountability and Development Program launched in Ukraine in September 2016. EGOV4UKRAINE is aimed at improving the provision of administrative services in local communities through e-government tools. It involves the development and implementation of comprehensive and effective IT architecture, information systems and technical solutions for centers of administrative services. Most importantly, the leaders of integrated territorial communities will be able to take advantage of the project in the first place. The memorandum will be signed between the State Agency of e-Government of Ukraine and Estonian e-Governance Academy," he said.

The total cost of the project makes 5.7 million euros.
