 Parubii closes Rada session and dismisses MPs until Feb. 7

The fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of 8th convocation has finished.

In his closing speech, Rada Speaker Andrii Parubii reminded the MPs of the importance of celebrating Ukraine's Unity Day on Jan. 22, congratulated Ukrainian PM Volodymyr Hroisman on his 39th birthday, and announced the Q&A hour with the government.

After the Q&A session Parubii ended the 5th parliamentary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 8th convocation. He said the MPs adopted 106 bills over this period.

The session ended with the state anthem of Ukraine. The sixth session will begin on Feb. 7, 2017.
