As reported by Censor.NET citing the presidential press office, Poroshenko expressed gratitude to Martin Schulz for his constant and immutable support for Ukraine, its sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and European choice during his presidency in the European Parliament.
The parties shared views on the continuation of the EU sanctions against Russia because of its aggression against Ukraine. They also discussed the issue of introduction of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians and ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement.
