Yanukovych's letter to Putin with request to send troops to Ukraine: Censor.NET publishes historical document

Censor.NET has obtained the historical document - a letter of former President Viktor Yanukovych to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to deploy troops in Ukraine.

This very letter was demonstrated by Russian representative Vitaly Churkin at the U.N. Security Council meeting on March 3, 2014.

"In this context, I appeal to the President of Russia Vladimir V. Putin to use the armed forces of the Russian Federation to re-establish the rule of law, peace, order, stability and to protect the people of Ukraine," the letter reads.
