 Ukraine to file suit against Russia in ICJ within hours

An action against Russia for infringement of two U.N. Conventions - on the suppression of the financing of terrorism and on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination - will be filed in the International Court of Justice in The Hague (Netherlands) at 4:30 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 16.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mariana Betsa announced on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.

"Upon the instruction of the president, Ukraine will file a case today in the International Court of Justice in The Hague to hold Russia accountable. Russia is responsible for the acts of terrorism and discrimination in the course of its aggression against Ukraine. A case will be filed at 4:30 CET," she wrote.
