 Poroshenko to instruct Odesa police authorities to restore order in city and region

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko intends to instruct the Odesa law enforcers to stabilize the situation in the city and across the region.

As reported by Censor.NET citing 112 Ukraine TV channel, he said while introducing new Odesa Regional State Administration Head Maksym Stepanov.

"The crime rate in the Odesa region has sharply increased while the new police administration will get an absolutely clear task from me today to put things in order in the city and the region in coordination with the regional prosecutor's office and the regional security service," the head of state said.

As reported, Dmytro Holovin has been appointed the new chief of the National Police Directorate in the Odesa region.
