Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center as of Jan. 11, 2017.
According to the Staff, the occupants shelled Krasnohorivka and Marinka in Mariupol direction with 120 and 82 mm mortars. Grenade launchers and small arms were used against Pavlopil, Hnutove, Hranitne, Vodiane, Novohryhorivka, Shyrokyne, Talakivka and Marinka.
In Luhansk direction, the militants shelled Troitske with 122 mm artillery, Novozvanivka and Troitske - with 120 and 82 mm mortars and grenade launchers of various systems. Krymske village was fired upon with APC weapons and large-caliber machine guns, Stanytsia Luhanska - with small arms.
The Russian-occupation forces employed 120 and 82 mm mortars against the ATO forces' positions in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Zaitseve, Novhorodske and Troitske in Donetsk direction. Avdiivka, Maiorsk, Pivnichne, Novoselivka Druha, Zalizne, Verkhniotoretske and Zaitseve were fired at with grenade launchers and small arms. Sniper attacks were recorded in Opytne. The enemy also fired at Avdiivka with IFV weapons.
"A total of 62 assaults were committed. Four our military were wounded, one sustained an injury, another one was killed," the report reads.
As reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said the Russian-backed militants breached truce in the Donbas more than 750 times since the latest cease-fire deal entered into force on Dec. 24, 2016.
