"DPR" terrorists refused to swap hostages under conditions proposed by MP Savchenko

The occupation authorities of Donetsk consider unacceptable swap proposals earlier voiced by Member of the Ukrainian Parliament Nadia Savchenko. The militants insist on “all for all” exchange.

"Our clear position in negotiations is the exchange of all confirmed persons for all under the name list. Thus, we seek 527 people detained by Kyiv to be returned to us in exchange for 42 Ukrainian citizens we hold in custody," so-called "Human Rights Commissioner" of the "DPR" Darya Morozova said Tuesday, Censor.NET reports.

The proposals of Ukrainian lawmaker Nadiia Savchenko regarding the exchange of prisoners were rejected.

"Savchenko reiterated proposals earlier voiced by Kyiv to give us only half of the total number of persons held by Kyiv, that is 256 people. It means that we are talking not even about a swap under the name list, but about a decision of the Ukrainian authorities to return only half of the detained persons, which is unacceptable," Morozova said.

As reported, Savchenko published the lists of Ukrainian fighters who have been captured POWs or went missing in action (MIA) in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions despite requests of the SBU not to do so. According to the Ukrainian lawmaker, Ukraine considers 494 persons missing in action.
