Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center as of Jan. 8, 2017.
The statement reads: "In Mariupol direction, the Russian occupation forces shelled Shyrokyne with 122 mm artillery; Marinka, Hnutove, Troitske, Vodiane, Talakivka and Shyrokyne - with 120 and 82 mm mortars. The militants fired upon Pavlopil, Krasnohorivka, Hnutove and Shyrokyne with grenade launchers and small arms.
"Mortars of various calibers were employed against Troitske in Luhansk direction; grenade launchers and small arms - against Novozvanivka, Lopaskyne and Stanytsia Luhanska. Sniper attacks were recorded in Troitske.
"In Donetsk direction, Luhanske village was shelled with 122 mm artillery, Avdiivka, Maiorsk and Luhanske - with 82 mm mortars. The militants fired at Luhanske, Zaitseve and Avdiivka with grenade launchers and small arms. The enemy also employed IFV weapon against Luhanske.
"Three our soldiers were wounded in action yesterday," the situation report reads.
