 One Ukrainian soldier wounded, no one killed yesterday, - ATO spokesperson

One Ukrainian military was injured in combat in the east of Ukraine on Dec. 31, 2016. No fighters were killed yesterday.

This was announced by Defense Ministry speaker on ATO (anti-terrorist operation) matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Sunday, Censor.NET reports.

"Over the past 24-hour period, no Ukrainian military were killed, one fighter received injuries in Zaitseve shelling," Motuzianyk said.

Earlier, the ATO Staff reported 44 cases of fire conducted by pro-Russian forces upon Ukrainian positions with the use of banned mortars and artillery.
