 Bill on amendments to Tax Code signed by Poroshenko

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the bill "On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine in part of improving investment climate in Ukraine."

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the head of state.

The bill stipulates for transforming tax inspections in administrative districts from controlling agencies to consulting ones.

"This is very important. This is how we want to see the tax inspection - for an entrepreneur to receive consultations from them. No more masked shows, no more corrupt schemes," the president said.

Poroshenko said he was certain that rapid implementation of the law should improve the investment climate in Ukraine.

"In near future, when this bill is signed, published and comes into effect, we will have effective changes in investment and tax climate," the president said.
