It was reported about five Russian militants' provocations since midnight despite the introduction of the truce in the Donbas, Censor.NET reports citing the ATO press center.
"The cease-fire was introduced in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone at midnight on Dec. 24, 2016. 25 minutes after the midnight, the militants fired upon Zhovte in the Luhansk sector from small arms. A couple of militants' attacks at Marinka were registered from 6:54 a.m. till 7:10 a.m., and from 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Shyrokyne was fired from 9:54 a.m. till 10:10 a.m. Ukrainian military didn't fire back. At 10:25 a.m. the militants launched an attack at Novotroitske, firing at Ukrainian soldiers from small arms for about 10 minutes," the report reads.
Earlier today, Ukrainian representatives of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) confirmed the introduction of a comprehensive, sustainable, and 'indefinite' cease-fire in the Donbas effective midnight on Dec. 24, 2016.
