This was announced by Defense Ministry spokesperson on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Thursday, Censor.NET reports.
"Over the past 24-hour period no Ukrainian military were killed in combat activities. However, 11 our soldiers were wounded. These sanitary losses were incurred in the Svitlodarsk salient due to enemy artillery and mortar shelling," he said.
According to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, 10,000 Ukrainians have been killed and more than 20,000 wounded since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas in 2014. As reported by the U.N., the total death toll of the conflict in Ukraine from mid-April 2014 to Dec.1, 2016 is 9,758, with another 22,779 people wounded.
