As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by aide to the head of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service Oleh Slobodian.
"Between 5:45 a.m. and 7 a.m., two columns (46 cars) of the so-called "humanitarian convoy" entered Ukraine through Russia's crossing points Donetsk and Matveyev Kurgan. Given that the passage of the convoy was in gross violation of international and national legislation as well as modalities agreed with the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Ukrainian interagency group was able to carry out only a visual observation without performing any actual control," he wrote.
According to Slobodian, the convoy allegedly carried mostly food, medicines and gifts.
"A peculiarity of the 59th "humanitarian convoy" is that the actual number of trucks is at odds with that declared in the previous note by the Russian Foreign Ministry. They declared 40 trucks, but in fact 46 entered Ukraine's temporarily uncontrolled territory," he said.
As previously reported, in October, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to Russia in connection with the illegal crossing of Ukraine's border by another "humanitarian convoy."
