 Militants employed 122 mm artillery upon Ukrainian positions in Shyrokyne, Vodiane, and Luhanske; number of cease-fire violations over 24-hour period totals 47, - Staff

On Dec. 19, militants continued shelling ATO (anti-terrorist forces) positions in all directions.

This was announced by the ATO press center in its morning report posted on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

According to the Staff, the biggest number of shelling cases occurred in Marupol direction as usual: "Shyrokyne and Vodiane came under 122 mm artillery fire. Shyrokyne was impacted by 120 mm and 82 mm mortar fire, IFV weapon, and tanks over the past 24-hour period. Our positions near Novotroitske, Marinka and Talakivka came under mortar shelling."

It is reported that Krymske in Luhansk direction came under mortar fire of 120 mm and 82 mm caliber. Grenade launchers impacted Novooleksandrivka, Lobacheve, Krymske, and Stanytsia Luhanska. The latter was also covered by sniper fire.

In Donetsk direction, Russian invaders used 122 mm artillery and 82 mm mortars to shell Luhanske. Avdiivka came under mortar fire of various calibers, and the enemy fired grenade launchers near Zaitseve.

"The total of 47 cases of shelling were recorded over the past 24-hour period," the ATO press center said.

Earlier, pro-Russian militants conducted 24 cases of fire upon ATO positions on Dec.18, killing 25 Russian militants.
