More than 30 attacks on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions have been recorded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area by 6 p.m. today, Dec. 19.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO Staff press center.

The situation report reads: "The militants continued shelling our positions in all directions Dec. 19. Most attacks were traditionally committed in Mariupol direction. Vodiane village was shelled with 122 mm artillery.

"The invaders repeatedly employed 120 and 82 mm mortars against our positions in the vicinity of Shyrokyne, Novotroitske and Talakivka. Shyrokyne was thrice fired upon with IFV weapons while small arms were used near Pavlopil.

"The militants shelled outskirts of Luhanske and Avdiivka in Donetsk direction with mortars of various calibers, used grenade launchers near Zaitseve.

"Grenade launchers were employed against Novooleksandrivka, Lobacheve and Stanytsia Luhanska, small arms against Novoaleksandrovka in Luhansk direction," the report reads.
