Ukrainian issue no longer EU's top priority, - MEP Štefanec

Ukraine has ceased to be the number one priority for the European Union.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by European Parliament lawmaker, representative of the European People's Party group Ivan Štefanec in an interview with Novoie Vremia.

Two years ago, Ukraine was the number one priority, while now it's fourth or fifth, the MP says, adding other issues, such as Syria, migration, Brexit and other internal problems have appeared instead.

According to Štefanec, the role of the European-Ukrainian delegation in the European Parliament is to promote Ukraine and all the issues crucial for both successful cooperation in the economic and political spheres and proper development of Ukraine.
