Vatican Nuncio Gugerotti served in occupied Luhansk

Vatican Nuncio in Ukraine Claudio Gugerotti served Sunday service at the Catholic Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the occupied city of Luhansk.

This was announced by the church rector Grzegorz Rapa, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"Pope sent me here with these words: 'Tell them that I am with them, say it out loud. Tell them that I did not forget about them, I pray every day that this war is over;," Rapa quoted the nuncio.

Assistant of Kharkiv-Zaporizhia Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church bishop Yan Sobilo served together with nuncio Gugerotti.
