This was announced by Defense Ministry speaker on ATO matters Oleksandr Motuzianyk at a briefing on Thursday, Censor.NET reports.
"Over the past 24-hour period, no Ukrainian military were killed or wounded in action. However, losses among civilian population were registered. One civilian was killed, one received injuries in an armed provocation. Another local resident was injured in Marinka by a mine blast," Motuzianyk said.
According to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, 10,000 Ukrainians have been killed and more than 20,000 wounded since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas in 2014. As reported by the U.N., the total death toll of the conflict in Ukraine from mid-April 2014 to Dec.1, 2016 is 9,758, with another 22,779 people injured.
