 No one killed, four Ukrainian soldiers and one border guard injured over past day, - ATO speaker

Four Ukrainian soldiers and one border guard were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area on Dec. 13.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on ATO matters Andrii Lysenko told a briefing today, Censor.NET reports.

"No Ukrainian soldiers were killed in action, four were injured over the past 24-hour period. A member of the State Border Guard Service was also slightly injured in attack on Stanytsia Luhanska entry/exit point around midnight," he said.

According to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, 10,000 Ukrainians have been killed and more than 20,000 wounded since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas in 2014. As reported by the U.N., the total death toll of the conflict in Ukraine from mid-April 2014 to Dec.1, 2016 is 9,758, with another 22,779 people injured.
