Two Kramatorsk residents who earlier collaborated with militants agreed to cooperate with National Police

Criminal proceedings have been opened under article 260 (part 2 - creation of an illegal armed formation or participation in its activities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Censor.NET reports citing the National Police in the Donetsk region.

According to the National Police in the Donetsk region, the local residents served at the militants' checkpoints during the occupation of the city. They carried out illegal transport inspections and detected citizens who did not support the 'DPR'.

A 40-year-old resident joined the militants hoping to earn some money. With a stick in his hand he was serving at the checkpoint on Radhospna Street. He escaped later and was hiding for a while.

A 48-year-old Kramatorsk resident went to 'defend his family' as soon as he was called by the 'DPR' militants. Later, he got scared of responsibility for his actions and left the ranks of militants.

Now both 'militants' repent what they have done and are to cooperate with the investigation.
