The decision was supported by 228 MPs, 31 member of parliament voted against.
After the voting speaker Parubii congratulated MPs on the decision and announced a 30-minute break.
Earlier, Lutsenko published a photocopy of the request to the Verkhovna Rada to allow the prosecution of MP Novynskyi. The PGO says Novynskyi is suspected of kidnapping people and abuse of power together with Ukraine's former top-ranking public officials (Yanukovych, Zakharchenko, Koriak).
The Verkhovna Rada procedural committee postponed the review of the above request until the PGO provided more materials.
On Dec. 6, the committee said that it was up to MPs to decide whether to deprive Novynskyi of the immunity.
